Lübeck, 28 September 2023. Today, German developer BVI.EU held the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Lübeck Green Business Park, which will be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2024. The ceremony took place in the presence of Dr. Ralph Bruns from the Lübeck Economic Development Agency KWL and marks the beginning of an innovative project that is a milestone not only for BVI.EU but also for the city of Lübeck.
The vision of BVI.EU is to offer small and medium-sized entreprises flexible and customized solutions in one central location. Accordingly, the Lübeck Green Business Park is located in the Genin industrial park and excellent access to the highway. Covering an area of 10,888 square meters, a total of 40 units between 70 and 950 square meters can be adapted to the needs of the tenants.
The units will be delivered in a refined shell, turnkey and with all necessary technical installations and utilities. Tenants have the option to make additions on their own.
The founder of BVI.EU, Michel Meers, emphasizes: “We are pleased to bring this forward-looking type of business park to Lübeck. In three buildings, companies can rent laboratories, production facilities, warehouses or B2B showrooms, optionally with or without office space, and combine several spaces. The high demand shows us that we are hitting the mark with this offer at KME.”
At the Lübeck Green Business Park, sustainability is part of the concept. The building areas are pre-equipped for the installation of photovoltaic systems as well as charging stations for e-vehicles.
“We are very pleased that BVI found a renowned developer for our last partial area in the Genin-Süd industrial park, who is investing in a business park there and thus creating space and opportunities for smaller companies at this attractive location directly on the A20,” says Dr. Ralph Bruns, Head of Project Development & Parking Management at KWL.
Mayor Jan Lindenau emphasized the importance of this project for the city of Lübeck: “Start-ups, entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises in particular need the right space and facilities to start up or expand a business. The Lübeck Green Business Park is a welcome support for the resident companies. It offers a great opportunity to strengthen the city’s economy and consolidate our position as an important port city in Schleswig-Holstein.”
