An environmental milestone for a flagship building in the ‘Parc de l’Europe’
Wavre, 8 December 2025 – BVI.EU has reached a new milestone in its commitment to sustainable construction: its office building Europe 131, located in Wavre, has officially been awarded the prestigious BREEAM “Excellent” certification. A distinction that highlights the high environmental performance of this next-generation site.
A flagship project at the heart of the ‘Parc de l’Europe’
Situated at the entrance of Wavre, along the Boulevard de l’Europe (Wavre-Ottignies exit) and just a few minutes’ walk from Bierges station, Europe 131 marks the completion of the development of the Parc de l’Europe led by BVI.EU.
It also crowns the successful transformation of a 30,000 m² industrial brownfield, now converted into a dynamic and future-oriented business hub — a tangible illustration of BVI.EU’s mission to revitalise underused land.
The 3,627 m² building offers flexible workspaces and showrooms designed for companies seeking sustainability and comfort.
On the 4th floor, BVI.EU has also created a shared meeting room and an event space with a terrace, accessible to tenants and external partners.
Companies such as Crelan, Acerta and BVI.EU have already established themselves in this exemplary building. Additional space remains available for businesses looking for a sustainable office location with excellent accessibility to Brussels.
An energy-positive building designed for tomorrow
Europe 131 exemplifies BVI.EU’s vision for modern office real estate: meeting tomorrow’s ESG challenges today. The project has a carbon-neutral footprint and delivers a positive energy performance thanks to a combination of sustainable technologies, including open geothermal systems, triple glazing, enhanced insulation and an intelligent design that reduces energy demand.
The building is also Smart Ready, integrating advanced systems for performance monitoring and management.
The roof and carports accommodate around 659 solar panels, ensuring a renewable energy production that exceeds the building’s annual consumption.
At BVI.EU, every building is designed as a concrete response to today’s climate and economic challenges. With Europe 131, we demonstrate that architectural quality, sustainability and comfort can be seamlessly combined to meet the needs of the businesses of tomorrow.
