BVI.EU is strengthening its shareholder structure with a new investor and consolidates its long-term growth strategy

Apr 21, 2026

Real estate developer BVI.EU is strengthening its shareholder structure with the entry of the Vulsteke family as a long-term investor, further building on a long-standing collaboration and enhancing its capacity to develop sustainable and well-managed projects.

This investment marks a new phase in the relationship between the two parties: the Vulsteke family, previously involved as a construction partner through its company Vulsteke Commercial buildings, is now also joining as an investor. This development reflects strong mutual trust and a shared ambition to design and deliver real estate projects with lasting value.

The completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities and the fulfilment of customary closing conditions, particularly in relation to change-of-control provisions.

Nickolas Vulsteke, Managing Director of Vulsteke Commercial buildings:
« This step is a natural continuation of a collaboration built over the years on trust and shared values. By committing as an investor, we are not only strengthening BVI.EU, but also our joint ability to develop sustainable real estate projects over the long term. »

This partnership is built on strong complementary strengths: on the one hand, BVI.EU’s development expertise and entrepreneurial mindset; on the other, the execution capabilities and technical know-how of Vulsteke Commercial buildings. This synergy enhances their ability to deliver projects with greater certainty, efficiency and continuity.

BVI.EU will continue to operate independently, maintaining its identity, organization and management team, led by Jurgen Mesens (CEO) and Keanu Meers (CCO). For clients and partners, this development brings no changes: points of contact, processes and commitments remain unchanged.

This investment is primarily aimed at strengthening our position without altering our core fundamentals. Our clients and partners will continue to benefit from the same level of service, commitment and teams. At the same time, we are increasing our capacity to invest sustainably in well-conceived and future-oriented business real estate projects.

Jurgen Mesens

CEO of BVI.EU

Vulsteke Commercial buildings is a family-owned company with more than 40 years of experience and is currently led by Nickolas and Evelien Vulsteke, representing the second generation. With this long-term vision, the company prioritizes partnerships that extend beyond individual projects.

Evelien Vulsteke:
« As a second-generation family business, we strongly believe in long-term partnerships. This investment reflects our conviction that sustainable growth is built on the combination of entrepreneurship and collaboration. »

The shareholder structure of BVI.EU now consists of three parties: the founding Meers family remains involved, CEO Jurgen Mesens also holds shares, and the Vulsteke family joins as a long-term investor. This strengthened foundation reflects confidence in the future and supports BVI.EU’s growth ambitions as a developer of commercial real estate.
