Haike De Vogelaere is the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BVI.EU, a real estate developer with headquarters in Kontich and Waver. Prior to her new position, she worked as Head of Asset Services at the Ghelamco real estate group.
Haike De Vogelaere is an industrial engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate from the University of Antwerp. She started her career 22 years ago as a property manager at Facility Port and then worked successively at Sogesmaint-CBRE, ING Real Estate, CBRE Global Investors, AGRE and Cushman & Wakefield.
As COO of BVI.EU, Haike De Vogelaere is responsible for structuring and coordinating the operational side of the company. Its task is to structure projects and optimise communication between different industries so that cooperation can be facilitated. She has an undeniable role to play within the company, as sustainability, innovation, marketing, sales, human resources and IT are also part of her job responsibilities.
“I chose BVI.EU because I was looking for a new challenge and became charmed by the projects that BVI.EU is carrying out. I particularly like the sustainability factor combined with the international character of the company. I feel good in a role as team leader and get satisfaction from social contact and managing people. I’ve heard in the past that I’m a good people manager, but I think it’s especially important to be the glue between different links. My goal at BVI.EU is first and foremost to get all noses in the same direction,” says Haike De Vogelaere, COO of BVI.EU.
